Osborne: We won't lose Hayne

Paul Osborne has declared Dally M winner Jarryd Hayne isn't going anywhere."We won't lose him," Osborne reportedly told ABC after last night's ceremony."I think there's no doubt he'll be remembered as one of the best ever when he eventually retires, in about 15 years when he leaves the club hopefully."Sportal also carried comments from the CEO maintaining he was "not losing sleep" over the prospect of Hayne departing the team."He's happy playing league, he's happy at the club and his head's in a good place. He and (coach) Daniel Anderson work so well together, so I'm relaxed with where's it's (contract talks) at.""He's the best player in the competition and the hottest property in the game and has been for a while but I don't think it's all about money for Jarryd. He's said it himself; he wants to be somewhere where he can enjoy his footy and have fun and for us that's Parramatta."Contract negotiations with Hayne have been put on hold until the end of the season.

    The most pessimistic supporter has at least one thing to look forward to.
    This coming Monday may be Mad Monday if we lose to the Dragons, but at least it signals the end of the season and the re-commencement of talks with Jarryd!!!

    haha osbourne is a lagend. he made similar statements on nrl on fox last night. he cracked a few jokes aswell and seemed really relaxed about the massive task we have on sunday.. such a breath of fresh air to the d**khead fitzy
