  • Go Blues!!! Suck sh1te to Yellow belly Snake and Fanny Fung two headed Qld c@ck chokers
  • Damien Cook is a star!
  • I thought Cleary was average

My fears with regards James Roberts defence against GI were justified, even if it didn’t hurt us on the scoreboard.

Cook & Teddy are a brilliant combo.

Wade Graham needs to come back in.

QLD’s middles are average at best.

JAC & Mitchell are gonna have long Origin careers.

QLD are really gonna miss Cam Smith.

    • Wade Graham? Lol. Blues would have lost tonight if Graham was playing. Qld would of slotted 12 pts in penalty goals alone.
  • Damien Cook showed once again a) how damn good he is, b) how important a quality #9 is and c) how far behind we are with our 2 #9's. Yes, we are in need of another big body up front but I actually think the 9 is far more important. A top shelf 9 can make even an ok forward pack go a whole lot better... combine them with a good pack and sky's the limit. Sadly we have neither.

    • I'd like to do a calculation and compare which team's dummy half was better in any match, and compare that to win/loss ratios. I hundred percent agree with you as to the critical nature of getting that position right.

      • which begas the question - why did we not make any attempt whatsoever to replace Peats? Bizarre.

      • It would be interesting and you have to think massively lop sided in favour of the team with the better DH. The Warriors surprised a few early in the season and I think every conversation I heard when talking about them was how well Isaac Luke was going. Souths are the same with Cook... Dragons and McGuiness... there's 3 out of the top 4 teams on the ladder.

Panthers maybe bend the rule a little - they certainly don't have poor DH options but not up with the other 3. Damien Cook showed his potential so clearly at the Dogs - very, very smart pick up by Souths... he was always going to be this good. Most important role on the field I think as so much stems from it.

        King and Kaysa... oh well...

    • Agree, I've been saying it for ages, we need direction & that comes from our 9.
  • Both teams pretty avg to be honest from pat origin games.

"Hypothetical question. Say Lomax doesn't go to R360 would we have him back or is he gone forever despite his release saying can't go to league for 4 years "
