NSW Origin player ratings

1. Josh Dugan: Why didn't we take up his offer to come to Parra?

2. Daniel Tupou: not origin standard

3. Josh Morris: great game

4. Michael Jennings: OK

5. Will Hopoate: Looked comfortable at  this level but had no punch. Is he why we did not get Dugan???

6. Mitchell Pearce: OK

7.Trent Hodkinson: out of form and lacking confidence

8. James Tamou: great game

9. Robbie Farah: Did well but bad mistakes after being thrown on his head

10. Aaron Woods, Great game

11. Beau Scott: great game but stats look poor. Seems to do well when involved but not involved much

12. Ryan Hoffman: OK

13. Josh Jackson: OK

14. Trent Merrin: OK

15. Boyd Cordner: Nothing special

16. David Klemmer: Did well

17. Andrew Fifita: OK but seems out of form

Picking an out of form half and having no utility on the bench may have cost us dearly

  • Hoppa did a great job. Solid and no mistakes. Johnston would of got crushed.
When was Dugans offer to come to parra??
    I missed that one.
    • When Hayne left and Dragons were a basket case Dugan apparently wanted out and approached Parra

  • Dugan to parra? Can assure you that was never considered or an option. He was crap tonight, no idea why people are wrapping him. A fluke of a kick, and nothing else all night. Didn't even run to contest bombs
    • It seemed like nobody did. Slater took so many kicks easily, with no pressure, he only fucks up when he's under pressure, and we just couldn't seem to give him any. Lot of blocking defence though, they were protecting him.
    • That was definitely an option, he played well and he is a very good player so not sure what game you were watching.
  • So you're a QLD'er....

  • Thats a low blow

  • Haha, just messin' with ya. I agree with the points you make. NSW lost the game, not QLD winning it. I spent the last 10 minutes waiting for NSW to set up the field goal, but there just seemed to be a communication breakdown. I reckon we'll need a good number of the current QLD team to retire before it can be a contest again. Eg. Thurston, Smith, Cronk, Slater.

    • Yes but the discussions been great
Someone has to provide the contrast
  • Pearce Ok. how many chances does this guy get. He chokes again on the big stage in the last 10 when it mattered most. Lead the team and set up of for effing field goal. If him or hidkinson can't manage then they're a liability. Farah also partly to blame. If not for the halves blues woulda won 100%.

"If Ryles had the players he wanted we would have been firing on all cylinders. But since we can't sign anyone to improve the other players around them, stick around for more false flags like this."
