QLDer so I think maroons get it done 1-12. Will be watching to see how Moses and Lomax link up and hopefully Mitch can back up on the weekend and gets through the game fine. Any predictions fellas ??

I have a horrible feeling that Moses is going to choke and become the next Mitch Pearce like joke of Origin. I hope he doesn't , I really do as it means bad news for us at clubland moving forward. But I just don't see him having what it takes to be as spectacular as needed on such a big stage under such pressure cooker conditions . He has the whole states expectations on his shoulders , and from what we've seen to date he doesn't have that magic about him . He needs to play the best games he's ever played in his life.
I think if nsw can win other matchups across the park Moses can probably get the job done. QLD backline is far quicker then NSW backline and I think that's our main advantage. But you are right if nsw lose blame goes on Moses
It goes on Moses if he plays his usual game of catch and pass then kick on the 5th . The problem with Moses is he rarely looks to be playing a stand out dominant game even when he may be playing ok. At this level he needs to run the ball, he needs to be at a level I've never seen him play at .
Mitch Pearce was the same , and everyone here were quite happy to critique his Origin performances , but when it's one of our players , we will no doubt hear the reasons why he was great and how the other 90% of league fans are wrong. .
I hope we see him grow , Cleary was able to become a far better player at this level after a slow start . Unfortunately Moses is at an age I fear is too late . If he's blamed for a quiet game , it'll probably be on the money. I just hope he can break his trend of getting fucking injured.
I do hope his foot can hold up but I'm thinking he might second guess himself a bit. NSW picking him off 3 games back is tough. They should have just stuck with Hynes or Keary maybe. Moses does love to take the line on but that foot is probably in the back of his mind atm
Well that's the second try he's set up, so looks like he's on tonight.
This aged well lol
He needs to play the best games he's ever played in his life.
id argue he is doing just this , no ?

I was referring to this bit wiz.
Yeah just not sure how my bad feeling hasn't aged well. If I said he will choke then that'd be in context .
I said he'd have to play the best game of his life and every commentator has pretty much said he has. Sooo...,,lol
Don't trust your feelings wiz
