Orford's release dependent on replacement

Matt Orford's future rests with Bradford's ability to find an acceptable replacement.

1Eyed Eel's investigation has confirmed that Orford is seeking a release, and it is being considered by Bradford. However, their willingness to grant Orford his wish to return to the NRL is totally dependent on the club being able to find a player to fill the halfback position.

At this stage, that is no certainty with Super League pre-season training due to resume next month and with most halves having already settled their futures.

    Although i like Robson, maye there could be a player swap instead of the release fee...??? Robson would go well in England i think. Hmmm cant wait until we know whats going on!! Cmon March 2011 hurry up already.. I MISS WATCHING MY EELS PLAY win or lose...

    he may be seeking a release to come to parra you know, Canberra and Cronulla are interested as well. But with SK's ties we would have to be favorites.

    I feel that the media just hypes things up to keep ya reading.. He only has one place in mind and thats Parra, whether or not anyone else is chasing him he will come to Parra.. Just my opinion!!!

    I know that as far as Bradford they believe it's Parra he'll be joining if they release him. And given that there is almost certain to be a transfer fee involved they would have to know the club. Of course, if there is any truth to the other blog, it could be possible we're chasing someone else at the same time as Orford. Still as clear as mud, but I thought it was worth an update and the most I've been able to find able.
