Orford will sign today

...yet another rumour blog. Trash it if anyone sees fit, but a source has told me Orford will sign very shortly. The same source was right about Tahu signing.

Has anyone else heard similar? Has Bradford released him?

I really hope he isn't having his leg pulled, or I'm gonna look like a dick haha

Interesting.
When can we roughly expect an announcement Dan?
I mean, I know you said shortly, so I guess the time-frame wouldn't be that long.

Does this then mean that the hunt for Cronk is no longer on, or is Cronk seen as the halfback for 2012, and so Orford is only here for 1 year?

Wouldn't know when to expect an announcement, sorry Ricky. My source's source (haha) said he'll sign today, but I find that unlikely.

I would like to think we're still after Cronk but I don't know if Orford would come on a one year deal. Stranger things have happened though.

They have yes.
Well it is already 3:55, so any confirmation today does seem quite slim indeed.

Ideally, I'd rather we have Cronk as I think he has more to offer, and we have at least seen him in frequent action, whereas with Orford, we don't even know how he was doing in the ESL.
