This is how you do it @ the dopey NRL executives who signed off on that stupid NRL commercial.
Foo Fighters banging in the background.
At the end where the Panthers are facing the other teams gunning for their title is great. Take the last 18 seconds of this and 18 seconds more to include the rest of the teams and pan out on the trophy, then you have your NRL commercial the fans want to see.
After watching this, I want to watch every game this week.
You can watch it on page 1, if you don't want to click on the link.

Could not agree more Kurupt. It was much better for me; The Foo's are quality. Much more direct than the NRL rubbish for me; shame we didnt see any cheerleaders...or maybe this isn't allowed anymore.
It's not hard to make something that's passionate and simple.
I channel flick everytime the Fox promo comes on. Sorry can't stand this bloke.
I agree 100%
Does my head in
Yep it's just not that hard. I truly don't get how or why the NRL get it so wrong each year.
Mutt, i truly believe they get it wrong because they have become all about PC. It's sad but i think they forget the common fans and go all PC with it.
yep, trying to tick every box and you end up with a shitty product
I agree. Remember that disastrous ad just prior to Greenberg getting sacked? Latrell draped in the aboriginal flag with a singer singing 'you're simply the best' in the background?? That ad was diabolical and the negative reaction to it was probably a factor in Greenberg rightfully being sacked.
The NRL ad is super easy to get right. Focus on the fans and players, give each club similar air time, show amazing on field action, pump up some music, just generate excitement. It's not a political statement, it's an ad to kick off the season. It's truly not that hard.
Muttman yes Mutt i can recall. It was cringeworthy and rubbish. Greenberg....didnt he land on his feet? Can't believe hes now gone on to the cricket I think.
NRL advert is simple and to the point, and yes not a political statement.
Dear Fox Sports,
Please get a new front man for your promos. Using the same guy over and over and over doing the same sort of thing over and over and over is, well, repetitive and boring.
Warmest Regards
