Tbh there were some good signs last year, but replacing coach was only addressing half the problem. Considering those issues seem to persist, maybe it wasnt all BA after all...
Well that's what most commentators said, but the club seems to think otherwise. I really can't see Parra being a sustainably competitive club any time soon, unless there are major changes from top down.
Even without injuries, most other clubs have better rosters than the Eels anyway! Anything above a bottom 4 finish this year would be a successful season. Unfortunately, the Eels are several quality players away from being contenders and even with plenty of luck with recruitment, a chance of success is many years away.
So when I put the line through us after the Dragons win Poppa I guess now everyone is seeing it 😂.
But on a more serious note I laugh the noise is getting louder around JR the defense is close to the worse streak I've seen under a Parra coach what's that 200 plus points in 5 odd games and no sign of respite on the horizon it's looking ugly.
Look how powder puff soft the middle of the ruck is all of this season 2 into a rebuild.
Alot of people waxing lyrical how good we looked and buying the Matty johns BS that JR will end the drought where is all that talk now 😂
I laugh because everyone sees the powder puff look good shite and miss the real issues around this team.
Don't worry though the feel good comeback will happen but it's still not hiding the weaknesses on and off the park.
"When the opposition is putting 40+ on the team every week, I say it's more the coaching staff is the issue. The structure and system put in place isnt working. Fitness and conditioning is the biggest eye openers this season. Oppositions are running…"

Thats Rubbish......Talent does not define defensive effort. 60 by the titans what the fuck was that I just watched.
Ryles and his staff should be on Notice as as for the senior players Mitchel Moses a fucking princess and flat track bully......
Disgusting
I said that after round 1.
