Wow, for a team that made it as far as the Eels (not far enough though), only a single player made it to the nominees list, Isaiah Papali'i. Its fair to say we don't have many who would be odds on favourite to win any of the positons but you'd have to think that RCG and Jr Paulo have been better than Jarred Waerea-Hargraves and James Fisher-Harris over the full season. I hope we go all the way next year with our team of 'nobodies'.

To be honest we have a team full of overpaid nobody's though.
I agree RCG should have got a mention and maybe Mahoney but it's slim pickings apart from that.
Gutherson wouldn't even be in the Top 10 fullbacks in the game yet demands top dollar........

Who are the 10 fullbacks ahead of Gutho. I'd say he'd arguably be top 5 or 6
The problem with our team is everyone in the key roles are in the top 5 or 6 in their position.
Next year with young Jayden Campbell joining tne mix Guthersons an automatic to now be in the top 6 or 7.
Isnt Jayden Campbell a talent. Bit more size on him and he'll be one to watch
He's brilliant. Just an absaloute natural. I bet we won't be reading about how he's not ready for NRL yet and how he's needing more time in reserves like every kid that comes through our system.

He needs another 4 years in reggies if you ask me.
In my list he's 7th I think once the Hammer takes on the 1 permanently for the cowboy's he will jump up that list

I'd have Gutho at number 3 behind T.T. at 1 and Tedesco 2. Gutho is a great defender and has saved heaps of tries. His dumb passes at times let's him down. But consistently he's been better than Puppyhousing and I'm not a grub Mitchell.
I reckon you could add to that existing list Latrell Mitchell, Reece Walsh and Valentine Holmes easily. Not sure if you would count Jayden Campbell just yet but we are getting close to 10.
Paulo and RCG should be there. I think even Moses over DCE, had a super underrated year this year
