If you watch a replay of a game from 2 years ago the difference is chalk and cheese. Hes never been a great defender but he was a tenacious little bugger who led the linespeed. He's taking the piss this season. His defence has gotten worse and hes taking short cuts. 60 odd tackles but he lost the collison in about 50 of them.
Have you noticed his body shape this year, all upper body with chicken legs and small arse that equates to no power in the tackle or anythng else on the footy field. He's been getting run over/bumped off regularly and a minimum of half the tackles he makes are legs tackles that have no dominance in them and lead to a quick play the ball.
You could forgive the suspect defense if he made up for it with his decision making at dummy half, but that's regressed as well. Constantly taking the wrong option in attack, ignoring moses when he's demanding it, 5th tackle crash plays on the line that always fail.
With the benefit of hindsight we should have done a player swap with Benji's brother who has come on strong under potter this season.

Yeah, Reed is now easily my most disliked player in the comp, cannot wait for him to be out of our colours
