The Eels tonight beat Manly--and how good does that feel?--they beat the referees and they beat the Video adjudicators. Those three did there worse but the Eels prevailed. When I got home from the game I watched the replay on Foxtel. JH got marched 10 metres. In that tackle there was a Manly hand prising the ball away from JH. The referee was in a good position to see it all but did nothing but marched JH when he complained about the Manly hand. There was the no try of course. And Manly getting penalties that The Eels could not. The standard of refereeing is as low as it has been. Abolish the referees!
