I was reading an article on NRL.com & everyday they go back in history and highlight some history that has happened on this day over the years and stumbled across this from today’s one.

 

2010

Wallaby star Quade Cooper rejects an off from Parramatta to stay in rugby union for another season so he can play for the Wallabies at the 2011 World Cup.

 

I personally don’t remember this, were we actually that close to signing him?
