Old heads and a tired culture

The fact that the season is gone with us continuing to lose with all these old heads young blood continues to linger the lower grades without being given any opportunity to make a name for themselves. At least if we keep losing with players like mahoney niukore and stone in the team at least they learn from the experience and will be better players for it in the long run.2018 is dead.... BA needs to start looking to the futureFrustrating times to be an eels supporter right now

  • You're spot on mate. Tigers are proof that young and hungry is a powerful combo.

    • Souths are the same, unlike our old and tired undersized pack.

  • Our 2 best players tonight were French and Alvaro 2 of the youngest
    • French scored a try that he made look more exciting than it was with his theatrics, i thought he had an average game, i dont think Alvaro was much chop either, hes just not good enough week in week out imo.

  • Yep and mark my words, next year we will be just making up the numbers as long as Brads in charge, even if hes not we will have to rebuild.

Brad said he was happy with our efforts tonight, there lies the problem, Brad is the problem.

  • Problem is Brad Arthur is trying to convince himself he has a nrl coaching ability. He won't  risk it now, he will run the same team out and hope for the best. The clown still thinks he can coach,

  • Mahoney and Stone aren't eligible to play. Niukore got outplayed by Beau Scott for Wenty last week.

    • Why would Marata give 100% when he knows he will never ever get picked by Arthurszzzzzz???

People told me the same about Twal as well.

      • Actually Twal was playing well for Wenty. That's why the Tigers signed him and then pressured him to request an early release. How many clubs do you think are keen on Niukore joining them before July? Anyway Twal is an Alvaro clone. We don't need two of them in the 17.

      • Have you watched Peni Matagi,Vave or evans this year???? he's 21 and playing a hell of a lot better than any of those blokes. He's no world better but he would walk into our rabble atm.
