I seriously think EELS should make a play for Justin Olam, storm shopping him around.
Yes i know he is 30, but think a change in club and style will be good for him. I know his form this year nothing flash, and thats why needs new club.
We could benefit from his experience and tackling style.

Yes please, we could do with his defence
My partner (who is a Storm supporter) saw something on their forum about him. The words I saw were "Olams attitude and discipline towards the club has caused a fallout between him and the club, and that is why he is being shopped around". Doesn't take much at the Storm to put a red line through ya, I guess that's why they've been so successful.
I guess you could have the conversation to understand why this is the case if true.
He could be useful in much the same way Fergo was.
Living in Melbourne is enough to make you crazy
No dickheads policies are a myth. The players are as bad as anywhere else but have less recognition in victoria then other states and many stories are buried by news limited. There have been numerous drug scandals, misbehaving players and dickheads in melb who given a pass due to their skill level.
And yet they retained Cam Munster. The alleged policy is ... flexible.
Great point Brett, lets judge him after we talk and then make a decision rather than pre judge him on social media.
Frankly he would be a god send when looking at alternatives that we don't seem to have, no origin duties and it gives us time to bring our pathways through.
Just for the hell of it throw in Waka Blake, Dunster and 3 of the forwards that we purchased and never made a dint when given the opportunity.......maybe Sivo would also be a good incentive for them and then we can offer Payne Haas 1.25m and a block of flats to come over......and find a couple of wingers from reserve grade at other clubs that want to start in first grade and can run fast.
He could be burnt out from the storm training schedule, just over Melbourne life, decked Munster at training, just wants out and heap more reasons. Munster takes the dickhead policy to another level.
I reckon ba could get a good couple of years out of him to be honest.
30yrs of age isn't the best way for the club to move forward. I thought members wanted us to move away from being a retirement fund?
If we are looking for another centre (I think Penesini and Simmonson are good enough), we need to be looking at someone much younger (22-26yrs old) so we are getting bang for our buck.
If we are looking at Olam for a wing position, then we definitely shouldn't. Russell is getting better and better the more he plays and we have Sivo on the other side.
If we aren't building for the future, we aren't doing it right.
The Storm, Roosters, and Panthers rarely take on 30yr olds (sometimes but not often) because they are looking ahead. That's how to be a long term successful club.
Lumelume with those crazy eyes 🤪
