We are coming off a win, and coming up against the Dogs with the same brand of defeatism that plaques our post match commentaries by the same Nellies every week.

I believe we are reading this all wrong.....lets start on the Moses/Reed interaction......we know they hate each other guts, at least from Mahoney's perspective, he committed the cardinal sin of putting his feelings before a team performance....Reed Mahoney is a greedy little c..nt and I hate that word........(notwithstanding being called it regularly) he was a ball hog all the way through the juniors and if ever a player should be flattened, rolled up and thrown in a waste paper bin, its Reed Mahoney. He was bad news for us and the whingers that think he was a loss, you have no idea!

Back to the game, there seems to be a strong feeling that we played badly against the Tigers, I think we played ok with the exception of the obvious.

The final score was 28-22 and statistics say we had no right to win .....again stats make a horses arse, or at least the people compiling them.

No right to win, we had no right to lose......we were the dominant team, 6/0,12/0 could have been 18 or 24......one mistake where the centres Russell in this case could not position himself, length of the field try! Wests get a sniff at 12-6 and we again accelerate 18-6.

At this stage no obvious weaknesses in our game, afford to let RCG have a good rest, Hodgson replaced at the right time, Dunster and Russell seemed settled.

Second half by luck or good management Wests attack our right side and Penisini seemed to think he had to look after his winger and crowd out the Wests attack, now apart from the first try Wests scored , the next 3 down our right side sat just about soley on Dunster missed tackles and poor reads by Penisini (they gave him 2 pts in the Dally M and the judge must have left at half time or he was the same idiot that compiled the stats......shit I would have all these pricks in to have competency tests)

Now everyone of those tries could have been stopped with a competent winger and Penisini not over trying to cover him......that makes for me 28-0 or throw in the long try for luck (but it was certainly avoidable) and some on here think we played shit and were lucky to win.....we would have been incredibly unlucky to have lost.

For all the negative nellies on here it is about you shit or get off the pot.....forever negative and never constructive.I'm looking at you Wiz, Realist, Analyst and Chief and all the sheep that follow them.

The constructive is yes, we need to do something about Dunster by thinking that was a one off or getting someone that doesn't try to just push his opponent over the sideline, I am comfortable that Penisini has learnt his lesson...... I understand BA giving Dunster a second chance (just hope his stubbornessI, doesn't cost us)  Ihave no problem with our forwards, especially now we have junior back and Lane brushing of the rust. The Hooker situation is still being judged but the good news there is that in Hands it would seem we have a geniuine replacement for 80 minutes if it comes to that.

Overall we will kick the Dogs arses this coming week as long as we have looked after our right wing weakness and a jury still out on Russell.

  • Still leaking 22 points to a team coming last is not ideal, thats the glaring problem at the moment, our defense is not holding over 80mins. Whilst yes we won, that game was there for the taking

I do believe we will beat the DOGS actually

    • There a hole in my bucket dear Inside info, a hole, well fix it dear David dear David well fix it.......

I told you where the hole was, what more do you want?......read the blog!!!

      • have no idea what u just rambled, must be an old timers saying

  • The tigers always get up for us and they played pretty well and were at full strength. If they played like that in previous games they would have a couple of wins under the belt. They have some big athletic outside backs who will be good for them in due course.

Our red zone attack is humming and we look ready to do something in this comp

    • Haha Chief that's funny.Surely that's not Poppa

  • Have to agree, the team played well. We gave them the first try which made a difference, I never thought we would lose, we couldn't afford to. The Dogs are getting players back, but I believe we are playing better. Close loses in the first 4 rounds proves that because we weren't flogged considering the opposition.

    • Tinny, nothing wrong with your eyesight old mate!

  • I also think the team had lost a bit of petrol . We have had a big first up 5 rounds which every game was close and on top last 3 games played against team who were fresh off the bye .

But I think this week will be a good test for us to see where we are at . If we lose season is over imo if we win we are in it like previous years

"I have said it for a while, you do not get 91 NRL tries if you are average. BA is right what he said after the Manly game, he scored tries nobody else in the team can score. Russell's botched try against the Dolphins? Yeah, Sivo scores that. Is he a…"

"Michael,

Here's a comparison between Young (better than I expected), JAC and Coates who'd you call "strike" wingers rather than grunts. To'o in The King of Yardage who is also a close to unstoppable tank near the line.

Young, top 34% (138m,…"

There would be more analysis in this blog of HOE's than has occurred by the Board we have the whole time they've been there.
The stats paint a picture of something highly alarming and as you say, something that is absolutely not BAU or to be…"
