I've accepted a wonderful role on the Gold Coast and my wife and I moving from Sydney to the GC in the next few weeks.
I still haven't had the chance to watch an Eels game at the new Stadium and it seems like I won't for a while. I'm going to miss you blokes, but I'll still be supoorting the Swans, the GWS Giants, the Sydney Thunder and of course the Mighty Eels!
Also, and I ask y'all to do this - barrack hard for the Jacksonville Jaguars!
My new NFL baby - my wife's home town and her team! She's allegeric to sport, but, loves her Jags and loves our Eels! She wears the blue and gold with pride and teared up when we went to the 2022 GF! Solid!
For you Qldners, perhaps we can catch up over a brew or two watching our Eels at Suncorp or Cbus!

Cool mate. Me and my missus moved from Sydney to the GC in 2011. The move has been awesome. Had 2 kids after moving up here and we are so happy they are growing up here. We have set down a few rules.
1. You go for the state u were born in, we are roaches they are toads.
2. You go for the Eels regardless where u were born
3. You hate the Bulldogs more than any other team.
Gotta raise em right!!
Feel free to look us up whe u arrive. Cbus is a pretty decent stadium. You'll appreciate the comparative lack of humans when going to the footy up here. :)

it has all the things it's famous for, beautiful beaches, great weather, theme parks and Tamborine village is good too.

The Gold Coast is a pretty nice place to live, congratulations.
The Jags, only the 3rd team to make the playoffs after being 4-8 !!! Another January of watching from the outside for me and my beloved Jets. Sigh !!!
My two cents, live on the Tweed Coast even if you work on the Gold Coast, you simply won't regret it. Kingscliff, Casuarina, Cudgen, Cabarita, Hastings Point, Pottsville, all incredible places to live.
Those areas are magnificent and are so accessible to the GC with the new motorway. I'd like to retire to ocean shores, great golf course.
