Off Contracted Players.

Here is a link Listing all the trades/losses and off contracted players at the present:

http://www.bigpondsport.com/NRL/PlayerMoves/tabid/393/Default.aspx

I was intrested to see that there was some potential players on offer with the likes of jessie royal, james Auburson, ryan hincliff, adam mogg, clint amos anf Frank Puletua(though he may have struck a deal by now?).

I was also surprised to see alot of the weaker sides in the comp like the sharks and the cowboys recrute strongly with the likes of jeremy smith, brent tate and so on. i reckon they will give the big guns like st george and melbourne a run for there money.

so check it out and tell us what you think.

  • The thing I find most interesting about the player movements is David Gower making the transition from retired Test cricketer to NRL player. The new 2011 NRL expansion team (to be called 'Retirement') is also building up an experienced roster - they may want to form a joint venture with 'Mormon Mission' for some additional players.
Former Eel Adam Mogg is also quite unique - he's an addition, a loss and also off-contract. If he gets done drink driving in the next few weeks he could also be sacked and dismissed, and thus forcing him to head to the Wigan Warriors or the Harlequins for some good Aussie company.
  • says nothing about us signing casey mguire?
  • Yeah - I liked Adam Mogg's ;istings, thought he wouls be a guy we would be interested in if he can come and go and retire and - maybe fill in as ball boy as well. lol

Clinton Toopi - off contract - - there's the smoke screen again - Tonga the smokescreen as we get a NZ player - "AFTER the 4 nations"

Think I have got the basis of a new rumour for Parra's upcoming announcements?
    Toopi for the Blue'n'Gold
  • Adam Mogg played all his career as a centre, winger or fullback, Surely he's the answer to our halfback woes...
  • Does not look like it is up to date really?

I like Corey Payne from Dogs, Denan Kemp from the Broncos, Dean Whare from the Eagles, Luke MAcDougall from the Storm, Nigel Plum from the Panthers & Jamses Ausbusson from the Roosters.
  • That list is incorrect.
It doesn't show several of our confirmed signings, such as Brad Murray, Paki Afu, etc.
    It should be;
    Carl Webb
    Reni Maitua
    Casey Mcguire
    Cameron Bruest
    Paki Afu
    Brad Murray
    Jordan Atkins
    Toby Keys
Plus a few more I think.
  • I would sign Mitchell Aubusson if he is still off-contract, he's very handy defensively and has a natural aptitude for finding the try-line. Can play hooker and 2nd row in a pinch.
  • Who is Toby Keys?
I bet his nickname is car.
  • He's a young and talented player (Toby Keys) according to people who have seen him play. I don't know what position he plays though. He will feature in our 2011 NYC team.
