Off Contract Players for 2022!

Who should we target, who should we offload and can we afford anyone from this list that may improve our squad? No, I have not given up on this year, we have come a long way, but we need to continue planning for the future, both in terms of recruitment and development.

  • Link not working.

Doubt we will be in a position cap wise to make any big signings. The only significant contract ending is fergo's,  we would have to move a player on to free up space. I would look to offload lane. I still reckon we need another experienced good bench front rower.

    • I don't think we need any talented forward. We neee to buy an experienced workhorse who cleans up tackles.

  • Updated, please let me know if this link works.

    • Enough said we should keep will

      just cos I said

      • I think Will will be retained. He is back up for 1, 6, 7 and 9 and knows our system.

        • I hope so

    • Works

  • Lachlan Lewis would be a good pick up for a back up half (replace rankin) if you could get him cheap enough.

    • Yeah not a bad back up got a good kicking game tough bugger

      • I like him a lot, reckon he was thrown in the deep end at the dogs and was thrust into the primary playmaker roll before he was ready, put him with a dominant half and I reckon he would flourish.

"Issue is since they have done this they cannot go back. Dan Ginnane said that last year once you go to 27 rounds you cannot go back. If you do it is to 26 rounds.
Shorter season is exactly what Bennett is saying is the issue, i have said it for…"
