    • Great minds Gem ;)
  • 2017 are backups only. None have stepped forward but I'm liking the minutes Frank is clocking up.

2018 Scott gone, IDG gone others can stay for the right money but only Brown is a must, Vave is almost a must.

2019 a lot can change in 3yrs so I'll wait to make a call.
  • Yes its too early to decide for many, just thought id put it up for the debate, Hoffman for 3 years is a big concern.

  • I think its a bit early but, there is little doubt that there will be more than a few from the 2017 list that will go, and I would not be surprised if at least 2 of the 2018 players retire at the end of the year and one, IDG may not play again owing to concussion.

There's enough reasonable quality players in the 17 list that should get at least one year extensions but those who have had a one year extension already may not get another dig though.

  • The one i keep be to wenty only are
Auva... twal...woods..nelson...king...hasson that it rest to old or no good
  • donkey GIF

  • Looks like early all the 2017 mob are Wenty players. Most will not play NRL unless there are injuries. You have to weigh this up against other backup players who are available. I don't think all the 2018 players will resign.
  • I think BA may be realising that we may need a marquee signing or two?

  • I've been watching Marata Niukore pretty closely before he got injured playing for wenty and at the trial game in penrith since my mate from NZ told me about this kid and i think his worth keeping around for another couple of years to see how he develops. From what i can tell the bloke runs hard and has a decent fend on his left arm. Plays second row but has known to be in the centres earlier in his career. Wouldn't mind to keep him around. Anyones else thoughts on him?

"This is what I am saying. He most likely won't be here in 27, but if he does then it doesn't mean we will have 3 over 33s in our starting team.
Barnett would start. Paulo on the bench and JDB retired or more of a squad filler. Either way is fine…"
