Taniela Lasalo played really well for Wenty on Sunday, running hard at the line and constantly gaining ground ever after an initial contact with the opposition was made

where's William Budgen?
why is Jason Wehbe playing for wenty ?? and where is pauly pauly and chad mCgill and Kelepi Tanginoa
He's being prepared for first grade, he and Seage will be the next halves to step-up into first grade. They're either; being rested because of their recent busy schedule (Playing in the schoolboy's competition) or they're playing against the Great Britain Schoolboy's side
The club has a policy of not the kids not backing up after playing schoolboy tournaments.
It's another great example of our junior program being very forward thinking. If you compare it to where Jacob Loko was a few years ago - at one stage he was playing Arrive Alive Cup, NYC and various tournaments before a shoulder injury he was carrying from SG Ball finally gave in.
As Jimmy has pointed out, I think it's fair to say Wehbe's future at the club is not assured at this point. I think he's primarily playing up as an opportunity to show he can perform at senior level.
And maybe just to blood him at senior level because we've lost Kelly, McGuire and Keating and would really struggle for another 6/7/9 if Sandow, Roberts or Smith get injured.
