  • No Tanginoa.  Although Wentworthville have the bye, it seems as if BA has judged Kelepi being too good to drop back to the u/20s.

    • I'd say he'd be 18th man for NRL. If not needed, probably a late return to NYC I'd guess.

    • Id say he is on standbye in case Hayne doesn't back up with Sandow going to fullback and Kelly starting and i assume Ryan Morgan is on standbye for Hoppa
  • Matterson comes back for a week. Interesting.
The NSW Cup stint would have taught him a few things, no doubt.

Apart from Muna, our bench doesn't fill you with that much promise.

    • Tui K
  • Wenty's bye in the NSW Cup means we can field our strongest NYC team in quite some time with big guns Ryan Matterson and Fabian Goodall certain to play. The return of Matterson really does make this team look that much more formidable and should hopefully see our left edge return to its lethal best.

Although we are testing our depth at hooker with injuries to Kaysa Pritchard and Joey Lussick, Alec Bush has done a fair job in their absence.

Tyrell Fuimaono is expected to back up from the Under 18s Origin while Tui Kamikamica holds his place on the bench after a strong game against the Dogs.

The biggest mystery centres around Kelepi Tanginoa who isn't named in either grade this week. I'm not sure if he picked up an injury in the NSW Cup game on Saturday or is simply unlisted to keep an ace up Brad Arthur's sleeve.

  • Good to see Tyrell back in the team, I'm expecting him to be there for the rest of the season even when Folau comes back I suspect John will play in the NSW cup; it will be interesting to see which side Fuimaono plays though with Davis being the incumbent left side centre. Very strong backline and with Matterson back in the team we should have a lot of points in us on that left side. Can't discount the right either with ZDC and Halaufu in fine form.

With the Storm coming 10th and a few of the older boys coming back down it should be another good contest.

  • This game will be televised as well :)
    • That great news what day and time Braeden

    • That works out nicely as unfortunately I don't have the cash floating around to justify flying down to Melbourne for the game!
