  Wyong looking too strong for Newcastle at this stage in NSW Cup. Would have been nice to see Clint Newton go out with a premiership.

  Ditto with Keehan. He's a relative of mine and a real good bloke. I do a bit of work with him in the schools program. An ex student of mine, Regan Rona, scored a try for Wenty. Well done boys.

  Yes a bit scrappy this final but like to watch these games. Papalli...he's a monster on the wing. If the Knights stay composed they can win this one comfortably I think. Does anyone else think Mamo seems to be such a competitor he gets into some scraps a bit too much? And a couple of forwards in Newcastle that look ok. Do we think BA is there watching?

  We need reserve grade back. Not because of the standard, but because of damning statistics such as 50 different players being used by teams during the year in this grade. Many of those blokes used aren't contracted to the NRL. We need to extend the number of players that a club can contract to an NRL deal instead of NSW Cup teams relying on Park footballers during injury periods.

  X 2 Sixties. There's a bit to be said for a 21 year old playing with an experienced guy like Newton for the Knights. It's also tougher football. And where do these guys go after NYC.....? They have to go to NSW cup or elsewhere.

    You guys should check out the former NRL players enjoying a nice pay day in the Group 6 comp in my area. Fraser Masinamua was also playing with us at Narellan last year.
