I am glad idris is in the side he has stepped up this year i hope he has a blinder, and to Tahu and hayne good on you boys, go the blues
Hopefully Hayne will switch between wing and fullback, wouldn't be surprised if gidley ends up at dummy half for some of the game.
let's face it - if billy slater was injured and couldnt play for australia, who would be his replacement? no brainer that jarryd would be picked so i have no idea what the agenda is with gidley.
PLUS gallen should probably be in the side. after watmoughs lacklustre effort tonight he can consider himself lucky
ok, im with u guys about Gidley, im not the biggest fan of him, But he will do the job, and Hayne will defianately slot back into fullback at one point in the game.
the Centres i think are the best choice, gotta feel for Jennigs but if we need to contain these massive QLD outside back Cooper/Tahu is the way to go.
whilst we had alot of options for 5/8 i dont hink many of the were origin quality, Lyon may be better as a centre, but i agree Cooper and Tahu are better centres than Lyon and Lyon will be very good at 5/8.
Idris is a handfull, he can come on in the centres of 2nd row and will be our X-factor along with Lehroyd lahrs.
I think its a great team bar Gidley at FB, Josh Perry ( over rated) and Brett White (howver he has the agression required for origin)
Not having Gallen and Mason is suicidal.
Idris on the bench is a good idea. Inglis has it all over Lyon mentally.... the guy has tortured him every timne they have played. At least Hayne, Tahu and Idris can put a hit on and maybe reverse the ledger
