NSW Cup/ Jake Arthur

Any reason why Jake wasn't available for Cup today ?

It would make sense to aid his development playing at that level considering he missed 2020 and player about 5 games in 2022.

Having the 5 game NSW Cup veteran stifle the heck out of our attack or sitting on the bench for 80 mins unused we all know is a problem . But him not being given a chance to develop at all with players more his level is another example of the complete mismanagement of both he and Dylan Brown and BA has a lot to answer for .

  • Makes no sense

ba prob keeping him untouched in case of injury

you are right, this palava helps no one

  • Saving him for first grade next week

  • Hayze Perham killed it last week at fullback with 4 try assists.

That's no good. Make's BA's adopted son Gutho look inept. So lets put Perham at centre and neuter him next game.

  • I think daddy's afraid Jakey will play crap which would make it more embarrasing when he chooses him again next week to sit on the bench.

    • 😡😡😡😒

  • He probably wasn't allowed under the rules, even though he didn't take the field he was in the final 17 in first grade, it's the only plausible excuse for him not to play reserve grade today.

    • Now that would be plausible

      but I'm sure it's happened before 🤔.....mb

actually haven't some players backed up in the past or done both 🤔

      • Cartwright played today but he wasn't in the final 17 in first grade.

    • Not sure if it is a rule change but i thought you can do that. I've seen in the past players play like 5mins and back-up the next day for cup.

Maybe rule change for player safety.
