  • Pearce and Maloney don't get a run in your B side?

    • Fuck No!

I find it funny that NSW have "gone in a different direction" dropping Pearce and selecting Josh Reynolds, They are the fucking same dude! one wears a 7 and the other wears a 6! the real difference is Hodkinson replacing Maloney...

      What do you think Super?

  • Hayne aside this team would give the A team a good run. Beau Scott what a joke of a selection
  • Josh Mansour should have been in the A-side ahead of Tupou and he can't even make your B-side, Parody.

  • As if you wouldn't have pear and Maloney in the halves
  • Pearce
  • BUT BUT BUT BUT Reynolds has 'mongrel'.  Didn't you know, it's the primary qualifier for being an Origin Player.

  • Good call re Adam Docker.  He has that bit of something about him.

    Also, Carney is injured.

  • I think with Hodkinson you know what you get. He's not flashy, he gets stuck in and gets the job done. His open field kicking has been good this season and is definitely in better form than both Pearce and Maloney. His kicking really helps. Hodkinson I believe is seeing this season as the chance to prove himself. He's had a fair few injuries since joining the Dogs and it's taken a lot of hard work to get himself back into first grade.

I read that he's had a number of major surgeries and any of those could've ended his career. I think Hodkinson isn't going to treat his selection with contempt or dis-respect the jersey. In fact I see him as playing at his best in Origin I. We've seen at Parramatta what happens when you give a player a chance. I think Hodkinson is similar to Sandow in that he's had his dramas in terms of injuries. He's worked hard and now is reaping the rewards. Common denominator though are the coaches, Hasler and Arthur are the types of coaches who seem very good man managers.
