I havent seen anyone submitting their opinion pieces on here yet for this years Blues team so i thought id get in early and give you MY Team:1. James Tedesco2. Jarryd Hayne3. James Roberts4. Joey Leilua5. Tom Trbojivic6. James Maloney7. Adam Reynolds8. Andrew Fafita9. Nathan Peats10. Paul Vaugn11. Boyd Cordiner12. Wade Grahem13. Nathan Brown14. Jack Bird15. Tyson Frizell16. Junior Paulo17. David KlemmerThat should get the Job done!Nathan Brown is in great form, and can play anywhere in the forwards. Can even cover Peats if Peats goes down.A good utility option in the forwards. Is also a fast moving front rower and fast moving forward in general which will be needed in this side of big boppers! His aggression will be vital as well.He is one of the most inform forwards in the comp not quite getting the recognition he deserves, combine that with his ability to cover hooker if Peats gets hurt mid game as well as the fact that he can play anywhere else in the forward pack he cant be overlookedJack Bird can cover halves, capable of covering hooker, outside backs, and lock if nessesary. No need for a second back rower off the bench. One is enough when you have in form Utilities like Nathan Brown & Jack Bird who between them can cover the entire forward pack as well as the halves if nessesary and even the outside backs.● Nathan Brown - Prop/Hooker/Second Row/Lock● Jack Bird - Halves/Hooker/Outside Backs/Lock

  • If Hayne is going to be in the side it has to be at fullback nsw have fucked up to many times playing him out of position trying to fit other players in he's only played 4 games for nsw at #1 & they have won 3 of them he always plays he's best footy for the blues he's a far better option than Tedesco
    • I'm with you. Hayne at 1.
too bad teddy. better luck next year.
    • Hayne on the wing isnt out of position. Haynes had arguably some of his best performamces on the wing.

Secondly, its exactly as you said, Hayne hasnt had enough game time to be put back into such a key position in origin. He needs to start out on the wing like he did on his origin debut where he shocked the nation and work his way back into the fullback spot at such a high level.

With limited game time thos season, the pressure of picking up where he left off in 2014s origin series will be too much for him. Give him a year to work his way back to the numbet 1 jersey.

Hes too good to leave out of the side completely. Play him at wing or center this year. Give teddy a run in game 1 if he buckles then drop him and switch hayne to fullback.

We need to ease hayne back in on the wing or centers for one game at very least

The best game hayne has played since being back in league was last week in the centers. He is just as good at center and wing as he is at fullback
    • class players are class players they don't need to be eased back into anything he has the ability to win them games at fullback Tedesco doesn't
    • He needs to be at fullback. He can do things no one else can do and he scares the shit out of QLD. He needs to be on the ball, not wasted in the centres or wing. NSW made that same mistake for years until they woke up and they won a series
  • Hayne has not played much this year. It is frustrating to watch and hoping he still has it because NRL looks much better with a firing Hayne Plane.
  • Pearce will be the halfback unfortunately
  • I like the idea of having specialist wingers and centres.
daley will pick 5 fullbacks from
    1-5. idiot!!!
  • Brown ain't getting picked no way
  • James Roberts has got to be there
