  • Dear god please can this be another team and not parra
  • There's two games at the centre of police match-fixing probe from 2015: Manly v Souths (R16) and Manly v Parramatta (R24).

    • 2 days late josh you missed  the boat to manly mate, be early next time read eddie.s report he got good points why pay 5 manly players plus 1 souths player  $50,000 each  to win a match when souths won as favorites at 8 plus. he even said he did not back on the parra v manly match at allits beat up foran ok with this no doubt.

  • Geez , I seem to remember one of our members having issue with the cancer of gambling on our game earlier this year . As I said , I had zero issue with the advertising tabs flashing around the screens however I don't think we should be promoting it in threads . It's a blight on the game .

All these years many here have been called tin foil hat wearers for accusing players of being involved with match fixing , it's just too easy and the temptation for them to throw an injury or drop a ball to turn a game for a quick payday would be real . The sooner these exotic type bets are eliminated the better . Go back to the "win or lose " " first try scorer " bets only and get rid of these " if a field goals kicked ", " if he scratches his balls " type bets . You have players racking up huge gambling debts and you have criminals associating with them , it doesn't take Einstein to work out that eventually players are going to take risks to clear debts .

So who wants to guess the odds we are involved ? Foran anyone ?
    • Agree, the amount of betting adds & agencies that are doing the rounds especially around sporting fixtures is getting worse. Is this country the gambling centre of the world as how many from overseas are setting up over here? Using high paid actors as their front men.
