I'm no Saints fan but this ref is blowing the pea out the whistle ....
there is absolutely no consistency .. put the whistle away for origin but blow the pea out for a club game .... the refs destroying the game ffs

Surely this ref is on the take.
Looks like the ref's are favouring any team that has something to do with Queensland.
I believe Cameron Smith has retained his position as Head of Referees.

I don't agree with you, the cowboys have been playing too fast for the dragons and they are desperately trying to slow them down. All the set restarts have been warranted.
Cows holding them down with out set restarts.
Fair tackle of a cows player in to touch and they get a penalty for it.
Deardan hit just as he kicks the ball and gets a penalty and Laurie put on report. No way was it a late hit.
I know the cows are good and the drags are average but the cows are definitely getting a leg up here.

Ref called held two or three times before they dragged him into touch, had to be a penalty.
You earn momentum you get the calls, be better you win, simple.
Ok.
Why call held the 2nd they touched him and had momentum going side ways but not call held when they have thre defenders hold one player with no momentum but letting him have every opportunity to fight off the defenders for an off load.
It's not like they were 2 or 3 metres away from the sideline when they took him in to touch. It was less than a metre.
Watch the replay, he was stationary on the ground, as soon as they put hands on him the tackle is complete, if he was up it would have been fair play but he was down.
