This is the punishment handed out by the NRL to a multiple offender.
JAMES Roberts’ rugby league career is likely to survive the latest set of accusations against him as long as he accepts a booze ban from the NRL.
Despite concerns these two alleged incidents could have ended his career, it is understood the NRL Integrity Unit do not have enough evidence of any serious wrongdoing by Roberts. AGAIN.
This is an absolute load of crap. This is multiple offences over the off season on top of his history. Combine this latest show of favoritism with the Simm's signing for $ 85k in a season he was already under contract for near enough $400k. We are not that stupid.
NRL commission.
How on earth can you call yourself independent when you clearly have engenders.

Everyone has agendas CJ, unfortunately they are not all treated with the same degree of scrutiny.
Go Parra!
Spot on RR, my agenda is the fine ripe glorious asses of the women of Australia.
Here here Jimmy!
He will get off again due to lack of evidence. You can put your house on it.
He was never going to banned - it's the Broncos and NRL we are talking about here guys.
Broncos are a law onto themselves.
They are the professionals at covering things up and playing hard ball with NRL.
Then NRL know they are a cash cow in Brisbane, and God forbid they upset them.
It's a joke. This is about the NRL and not individual players. I believe the NRL integrity unit is political and not at arm's length from the NRL senior management or operations. From an outsider look in, it looks dysfunctional.
