Grand final centre Waqa Blake is in danger of being squeezed out of Parramatta by salary cap pressure.
Blake is coming off contract at season's end and rival clubs are circling, realising the Eels will find it hard to retain the tall outside back.
With Mitchell Moses unlikely to go to the Tigers following their abysmal start to the year, the Eels will upgrade and extend him, making it difficult for them to retain all their current squad.
The 28-year-old has had a mixed time with Parramatta but is a player with pace and flair who knows his way to the tryline and would have no trouble finding another NRL club.

Good!
LOL, I was waiting for a response like that. I think there will be plenty of a similar nature!
Too many defensive errors in him. He would be a good replacement for Dom Young at the knights (height and size) or the hopeless Tigers
If he has no trouble finding a new club maybe he'd like to head there early.
Us taking Waqa as an experiment when Penrith were paying freight was the right move, but the experiment has failed and we have better talent coming through. He needs to go.
But why isn't that talent playing if there is better coming through?
My thoughts exactly
Asi will run rings around Waqa has so much more upside
"rival clubs are circling, realising the Eels will find it hard to retain the tall outside back".
You mean rival clubs are circling their wagons to prevent Waqa from ever seeing their club.
Come on seriously, could we really be that tight on our salary cap?
Waqa thanks mate but its time ESL is calling, for fcuks sake pick up.
"You mean rival clubs are circling their wagons to prevent Waqa from ever seeing their club"....hahahahaha. Lol
NSW Cup rivals maybe .
