ERIC is a master of illusion for 'the eel is quicker than the eye' and depending on how he flexes and coils his long, well toned body, he can give the impression that there's three of him instead of one, fooling defenders into believing they’re facing an overlap out wide.
As the only Mascot who can literally use his whole body to wrap up possession, his ball security is considered the best in the League and his amazing peripheral vision allows him to read a game better than anyone. And for elusiveness no one else comes close - ERIC has great anticipation and can sight and slip through a gap that most others wouldn't even dream of attempting.
His movements are swift and sneaky and designed to cause mass confusion in the opposition. Without a doubt, he is the power source behind the Parramatta Eels and inspires them with his own displays of skill and stamina, for any foray from this moray charges up both players and fans alike.
Parramatta Park is ERIC'S favourite hangout, where he likes to organise a quick game of touch, test out the slippery dips or just practice his swerve.

Now let me see if I am following you corectly David.
Paul the Octopus has departed to that great aquarium in the sky and ERIC the Eel has now taken over the predictions for the NRL - - am I right so far?
Now ERIC is predicting a premiership win for his cousins in Blue'n'Gold - - right?
ERIC was at the 1st win in '81 - but disguised as who?
Yet ERIC does not consider Sterlo's blonde locks flowing out in the breeze as he darted away to put Kenny into space as a NON favourite memory?
Or the sight of two blonde mulletts flowing in the breeze as Sterlo and JT confused everyone as to who was who?
Now - - does ERIC consider if Morts grows a "mullett" that we could then say we have seen such magnificence in both Black and White (Blonde)?
Tiz the season to be silly & festive, apparently?.
What else can we blog about to fill in the vacuum that is the off season.
Songs; movies; best of teams; its all been covered. There is nothing left but the cricket and hasn't that been a barrel of laughs.
