He has been terrible, there was a six again call that lead to their second try that I am still scratching my head over. Very much a ref display of they are the better team so they must deserve the penalties. Cleary has been 5 metres offside most of the night.
Was just thinking, the first 20 odd points from penrith have been from either terrible penalties or parra mistakes. That is bad signs for Penrith. They were always going to run over the top of us due to no game time for majority of our team but come finals can't back on the other team making mistakes and they shouldn't get terrible penalties (though panthers are fast become the NRL golden boys) the more I see of Penrith and Melbourne, the more I think Manly might win it this year
Agree , I can't see Penrith winning this year. It will be either Storm ( because of NRL favourites) or Manly. Wouldnt be surprised if its another Storm v Manly final. I really think the Eels have a good chance IF they have no more injuries and IF they get 50/50 ref calls
I don't believe you can contribute to much to the ref, he has blown the least number of restarts all year, both teams equally off side. On a positive note how good have players like Stone, Rodwell & Makatoa been! Stones defence brilliant! I'm very proud at our overall effort & the emergence of such players.
He only put his pea away after he had given I think 4 straight restarts to Penrith. Was a joke. Called a Shepherd when no player was obstructed, Failed to call blatant head high. You can not win when you can not get the ball. 10 meter from Penrith was a disgrace no it was not both teams. Had this have been a full strength team and a game that mattered you would be furious.

"Well Longfin as I have always stated, no such thing as a fair draw as you don't know what teams are good or not until the season starts. What could look like a bad draw could be decent based on the teams.
Raiders had an ok draw in 2024, their…"

the six agains is the easiest way for dodgy refs to manage a result

Thought the same thing regarding the 2nd try, which I seriously couldn't figure out why.
Is it just me or did Penrith knock it forward off JAs bomb ?
Offside, every day.

Penrith were perfect in the ruck for 72 mins apparently
