Parramatta are considering signing out-of-favour Dragons hooker Mitch Rein for 2017.
Rein and Benji Marshall were both made the scapegoats for the Dragons’ poor season this year and won’t be retained for next season.
Rein has had offers from England but wants to stay in the NRL and may be a good fit at Parramatta.
The Eels have struggled in the hooking position since letting talented dummyhalf Nathan Peats go mid-season at the height of the club’s salary cap scandal.
Isaac De Gois has done a fair job since Peats left but is not a starting hooker for a club hoping to make the finals.
Rein has been inconsistent in the last couple of seasons at the Dragons - but part of that can be attrbuted to the team’s glaring struggles in attack.
A shift to a club like Parramatta, with a strong and hard-running pack - could bring out the best in Rein next season.

His value would of dropped considerably this season
Is there some way to put a filter on the website where by if the term 'Lurker' is mentioned then it goes straight to the Trash blogs section?
Has this 'Lurker' dope ever gotten anything right?
DeGois >>>>>>>>> Rein
