With the Panthers losing and if Parra win tomorrow there will be a 4 point spread between the Eels (in 6th) and 7th/8th spot. We are getting very close to a start in the 2019 final series.
Interestingly if the sharks beat the bunnies tonight they'll jump from 10th to 7th and could be a team we play in the first week of the finals.

Based on the way the sharks played tonight, I would hate to play them first week of the finals
I agree johnny, the sharks are hitting form at the right time. It is no coincidence that their form has come with Wade Graham back in the team and they are a horror match up in the finals. Like the roosters and storm, the sharks have numerous strike weapons who can change momentum with 1 play.
That is why you rarely see momentum against them sustained for any lengthy periods when they play at full strength. They had lots of injuries through the season and have rarely be been full strength, but with full squad on the field I rate them a better chance than Manly.
The sharks are stacked though and are one of the real danger sides outside roosters and storm. On current form Manly and Canberra are the other two that might take it up to the roosters and Melbourne.
Huge game tomorrow. A win would almost guarantee the eels a finals place. Let's see how they handle it
I look at it as a must win and for every reason we can come up with.
I'm expecting Parramatta to beat St George. We have a good record against them and I expect that to continue.
