I'm not denying the Eels have been absolutely terrible and the coaching of Brad Arthur extremely questionable and some serious changes need to be made.
However, the refereeing, the commentators and the media are all over the Eels everytime they fart or burp like they're the only team in the NRL. Ryan Matterson gets sent off for a high tackle well what about when Ryan Matterson was seriously concussed earlier on in the year and missed 4 to 6 games through a low life grub act and that Storm player wasn't escorted from the field.
They might as well take the Parramatta Eels out of the NRL competition the way the media, the refs, the judiciary, the commentators carry on like they're the only team in the NRL and they continually bombard them with nothing but negativity and constant criticism but when the Eels are doing well its ignored. Some of the constant dribble coming out of these commentators is like vomit.

99.9% of the criticism aimed at Parra is justified.
They deserve it. For the last few years the Eels have been saying they have the team to win the premership
with Brad Arthur saying just that after their loss last week. No other NRL coach has said as much.
If you are going to make public statements like that you can't expect people not to comment.
The Eels have also also reminded the media of their 35 year premership drought and the media have run with it. It's a great "rags to riches" story.
If the Eels want to minimise media commentary they need to take a leaf out of the Morrison government's playbook.
Namely Tell the public as little as possible.
Do you think the Broncos have escaped criticism and attention? For over a year they also faced the same and they deserved it too.
Did they get dudded against the Roosters by refereeing? Maybe but Kevin Walters fronted up and refused to complain about it. I think he will actually turn that team around.
Your blog is just totally beside the point. The Eels are one of the bigger and higher profile clubs so naturally they will be scrutinised by the media and by us. All of the focus should be on turning it around, not complaining about the refs or the media.
Arthur comes across as inept, no gravitas. Compare him to Robinson for example.
I saw an interesting post on another site that pointed out that whilst Bellamy has continued to advance and evolve his thinking all the other understudy coaches from the Melbourne system are failing - Madge, O'Brien, Seibold, Arthur. They haven't adapted their coaching to changes in the game. But Bellamy has.
The up and in defence is clearly killing us and has been for three years. It is clear that the issue is the system, not just Waqa or Fergo.
Within the first 15 minutes of yesterday's game had eroded whatever shred of positive energy, if any, they took into it. Yet Arthur and Kidwell won't change it.
