The NRL is investigating allegations that Parramatta prop Junior Paulo was racially abused after the Eels’ loss in Newcastle on Saturday night.
It is understood the NRL was informed of the allegations over the weekend and the matter is now in the hands of the integrity unit.
The incident compounded a disappointing night for Paulo and the Eels, who were narrowly beaten at McDonald Jones Stadium.
The latest incident comes only a matter of weeks after two spectators were handed indefinite ban notices to two spectators who racially abused South Sydney stars Latrell Mitchell and Cody Walker.
In that case, the NRL was made aware of the allegations after they were contacted by a fan who was sitting in the vicinity of those responsible.

Wokism causes people to call racism when it really isn't. I don't know the particular facts of this incident but am merely pointing out that fact.
You can criticise his performance if you must but there is no need to criticise his heritage. As a 'grow ass' man yourself, surely you know the difference.

As someone who knows all about it, why wouldn't you stand up against it? Clearly you're happy to live with the racist abuse. Others choose not too. Surprisingly you show no empathy.
I grew up in South Africa during apartheid as well, and like you am a person of color. If the social norms of apartheid South Africa are the barometer you feel others should operate within then i for one disagree. While you may have been able to endure it, doesn't mean others have to. His reaction suggested it hit a nerve, he shouldn't have to experience racism, nor be accused of being woke for calling it out.
I am someone who rolls my eyes when they say you are an idiot if you say Woke. Like seriously there is a claim about wokism being over the top in media, it bothers me in media of how much they shove down our throat at times to be woke.
However, this type of racism has nothing to do with Woke. It is not needed at all. You are free to comment on his playing ability and effort. Race he has no say in and is not a factor of him playing good or not so it is irrelevant.

Paulo didn't even report it . It was some Karen fan that felt the need to report it on his behalf even though he seems to have let it go on the night.
Who this fan thinks they are is the real issue , what if Junior felt it not worthy of his time or energy and some do gooder thinks it's their right to make it media worthy to make themselves feel important.
