NRL hypocrisy - Pearce

I couldn't believe how quickly everyone turned and forgot how much of a grub Pearce is yesterday as he played his 300th NRL game. A few weeks ago he was the scum of the earth. Yesterday he received a special celebration. Even Andrew Abdo was there to celebrate with Pearce's family!

What example is the NRL setting? There is still a poor girl who was on the receiving end of a sexually fueled abusive text messages from this grub. His ex must feel like shit too after seeing the hype. Don't get me started on the dog he sexually abused.

You can't stop someone from playing their 300th game but with the history this bloke has, surely the NRL and Newcastle should have thought a more mellow approach would suffice?

  • Lol...he didn't sexually abuse the dog! It was simulated joke!!! Bloody helll!!!

  • LOL . The dog is still receiving counselling.

  • Never been a fan but to make 300 NRL is some feat considering the pressure of being a legends son etc.  While he is on the 300 club notice board - he wont be looked at withe same respect players like Benji, Cronk, and co receive.    You get paid well, you have a good life afterwards - just do the normal thing and behave.

  • Oh gawd!

  • Imagine if Pearce had of went to play for the Dogs not the Knights? This week we would have seen headlines about Pearce, the "Dogs Legend". Instead, he is a knight, in doggy armour.

PS: is it a coincidence that 'amour' in French means love?

    • Frankie Fong, are you implying that I favour Eels players? I always will but not when they do something wrong. I've been pretty vocal about Hayne's criminal ways. And at the time we signed Wicks I did mention my concerns.

And yes, Pearce may never have been charged. Still doesn't make what he did right. Your long list says alot.

Sending a young girl a sexually explicit message I'd argue is abuse.

Simulating sex on a dog is abuse too. If that dog could talk Pearce would be f*#ked.

        • Once again you are putting words in my mouth. You really don't know me.  How do you know if I do or don't object to all the things you mention?

One thing is for certain though, I 100% object to your constant need to have so many returns to create all the white space at the end off your posts.
