The NRL has given the go-ahead for Saturday night’s clash between the Eels and Raiders at Bankwest Stadium following a pitch inspection.
Sydney Roosters players Victor Radley and Sam Verrills suffered season-ending knee injuries on Friday night, leading to fears the pitch was degrading due to overuse in recent weeks.
Following the match, the NRL booked in a pitch inspection for Saturday morning, while Bankwest groundskeepers were at work mending the ground almost as soon as the final whistle blew.
The pitch inspection was subsequently passed.

That's good news that they HAD the inspection and it's deemed fit for play
it's a sad state of affairs when you read ' season ending injury ' and smile inside, especially Radley,I really like him as a player, any other team except Chooks and Storm and I would feel bad for them. But that's footy.don't blame the grass just accept it and go to the back of the line.
