NRL double standards

Tim Simona the idiot if found guilty should get a life ban. No butts no iffs anyone who does that goes against the very foundation of our great game. But what makes me curious is with all evidence thrown into into public domain by the great journalism at Fairfax (not the daily planet hand fed current affair journalism) following the money trail from Eddie Hayson and his associates. I'm pretty sure we were told proceeds were deposited into Kieran's tab account by his brother Liam. With all this scrutiny this bloke is still allowed to line up in round 3 what a fucken joke!! This bloke also made threatening phone calls to a dying female journo Rebecca Wilson and left threatening messages as well. But Wilson refused get the police involve. The article she had written about the tab betting splurge while he was suppose to be in rehab in Briz Vegas might have caused the angst. Give us a break this bloke should be rubbed out for the rest of the year in my books. I just hope nsw crime commission ramp up their investigation into those dodgy manly games too. I watched those replays and few individuals were very relax at certain key moments of those games.

  • The NRL can do whatever they want. The Tigers need some salary cap help so the NRL will get rid of Simona for them & it won't affect their cap. Warriors are starting to loose fans in NZ because of their inability to get into the finals so the NRL give them Foran. The betting investigation into Manly games will end because the NRL have a use for Foran.

As far as the NRL commission are concerned, we are nothing more than mindless chumps.

  • I remember watching Brett Stewart not even trying practically let semi score a hat trick, the evidence is damning
  • Well said Ed!! The cancer in our game starts & ends with the ambitious, ladder climbing Green Turd. The sooner he's gone the better!!

    • Totally agree Craig. Greenburg is killing our game. The sooner he is gone the better.

    • I'm pretty sure Foran was in a manly jumper in those earlier games which were heavily scrutinised when they lose
    • Doesn't really matter what he was betting on you can't bet on league full stop and they all know it. I agree with the poster Foran has gotten off lightly
  • It is all v simple, betting is a no no; would anyone trust either? if found guilty..? I also find it funny that there has been little mentioned of the Manly games betting; and also Foran...seems it has all gone by the way side; It is also some coincidence that major stories have been broken by SMH; except the hand fed Parra eels ones....wasn't Hayne receiving (apparently) extra cash through his deal with Parra? Is Beavis his manager? I do not recall any outcome.

    • It is still a breach but I agree a massive difference. But one could argue that maybe he tried harder in games he bet on. What I mean is it is possible a player could hypothetically play bad for 2-3 games, bring his first try scorer price up and then bet on himself at a favourable price in the subsequent match.
  • Isn't that still a breach Brett under NRL...? and dumb as
