NRL didn't want Jayne at Eels

NRL never wanted hayne at the eels. What do they get from hayne being at the eels. Nrl owns the titans and will benefit hugely from him being there. I don't blame Jayne as I feel his hands were tied and there is a lot of dodgy things going on at the nrl. Just a few days ago the nrl wanted to talk with JH about his TPA's. Now the nrl's titans have signed him? Doesn't make sense to me unless they found he had known about his dodgy tpa's and forced his hand to the titans. I have lost faith in the Mel, especially their leader in greenburg. The Mel needs a full clean out before any clubs do

oh FFS - Titans has plenty of money left over, they're letting go of Bird, they got rid of Myles and Dave taylor last year. They didnt spend DCE's money. They are a well managed cap club....not like Parra.

Hayne went for the money.

If you're 28 years old and someone offered you $400 -$500k a year more to do the same thing, what would you do?

  I understand the money is a lot and he may have gone to the titans anyway. Even if parra had offered him the same sort of deal, the nrl probably wouldnt have allowed it. This whole salary cap saga has shown how much dodgy things that not only the clubs do, but also the nrl themselves.

I think you may be onto something. Smells very fishy to me. Can't blame Jarryd though, that is a lot of money and he may well have been pressured into it.
