Probably not too far from the mark re first round team - interesting that journo thinks we have the greatest depth in the comp - don't know if I agree with that

Kaysa ahead of King, no chance. Also that bench is too small with Smith, Scott & Edwards.
I'd drop Smith and Beu for Matagi and Terepo
I hope to see Cameron King given first shot at 9
But I'd rather see Evans and Alvaro to start
And have Matagi and Vave Takairangi and Edwards on bench
King ahead of Kaysa by a mile
I agree, I think BA will start with both Mannah & Evans.
Pritchard and King will fight out for the 9 spot in the trials same as last year. In training pics both look in good shape and injuries will play a big part in who plays.
There was a bit on the midday news showing JH at training and I thought it was Vave but now realise it looked more like Matagi who overtook in running around the park. JH, seems to be a long way behind in fitness, and needs to really pick up in that area if he is to be picked in the run on squad. If he does not measure up for a top spot inclusion, I wonder if he would end up on the bench as I cannot see him at Wenty. A big change in training attitude will be needed for him to get close to a reasonable fitness level to play 80 minutes methinks.
If he does, it will be good to see him on the field.
King will be 9
French
Lelasiaou
Hayne
Jennings
Avua’a
Norman
Moses
Mannah
King
Alvaro
Mau
Meroa
Brown
Smith
Edwards
Scott
Matagi
I think BA will stick with Jennings on the right side were he found Scintillating form
last yesar, i agree with Takerangi missing out just, and with scott being our co captain he will be on the bench, Matagi gets the last spot for mine. Evans will have to bide his time.
