Both teams also suffered injuries to key players with Broncos hooker Andrew McCullough (knee) and Eels lock Nathan Brown (concussion/jaw) failing to finish the game. Adam Blair (shoulder charge), Brown (high tackle) and Kenny Edwards (dangerous/contrary conduct) may yet each have a case to answer at the judiciary too following an at-times spiteful contest.

  • Both players will be fine; think kenny hit him in shoulder...and Brown hit the ball ithought.. but willl see. They may get a few months being parra....
  • The tackle was not completed
Pearson was not concussed from Browns grab at his head as he slipped - was a grab and was blocked by both arms
He was on the ground not injured and fair game
  • Both should get off! Worse case scenario a fine. What about Adam Blairs shoulder charge on Mitch Moses?
  • Slip, I initially thought it was late, but on replay it did show he was already committed to tackle, but I agree that it should be seen as a shoulder charge and I read on NRL.com where he has been charged with a shoulder charge.

  • Brown has nothing worry bout seen 100 of those tackles thisbseason and as for Kenny, if watched foxtel you would think Kenny took his head off similar to soliolia last week. He didn't even hit head, player was on ground without player on him
Kenny jumped in a and swung arm and hit players ball and arm. Never contacted head.
Interesting how channel 9 were saying. Nothing in it yet foxtel want Kenny put on report and charged.
  • It's a bit of a dog shot to go hard on someone defenseless on the ground, but at the end of the day it's a tough sport and the fact he did not contact the head means Kenny has nothing to worry about.
  • It was a dumb play from him again
    • The high shot was bullshit and the shoulder on ground hit him in chest no problem imo
  • Both should be fine, he slipped into browns tackle. Not much could have been done to avoid it there.
With kenny the whistle wasn't blown so the tackle wasn't complete, so he has the right to go in hard. A bit of a swinging arm, but surely he won't miss time considering he made contact predominantly with the ball.
