NRL.com Ladder predictions

Not sure if this has been posted, but have a look, a few bold predictions

A few First positions, a few seconds. I see a lot of high hopes for Parramatta. Surprisingly some predicted we won’t make the top 8, or just make it.

  • Margie Mc Donald and Andrew Marmont have the same crack dealer.

    • Picking us to not make the Top 4, I can live with that, but missing the 8 altogether .... not happening

  • I still can’t get used to Eels and premiership contender in the same sentence. It’s just so foreign to see/hear our team mentioned in the same breath as the Storm, Cowboys & Roosters. Super excited for what is ahead!
    • It’s Foreign to hear, but damn so good.

  • Interesting how the panthers and raiders have fallen out of favour, they were hot favourites for last year, just goes to show the previous year means nothing. You could put a case for any team to be in the 8 due to the amount of player movement and some have made some major signings but as we have seen signing a top line player doesn’t always result in playing finals. Will be an interesting comp, no easy points these days

  • To leave us out the 8 big call but not easy to get in either
  • We are a top 8 side and a top 4 chance.  But with a plodder like Mannah starting we are no hope to compete with the top sides. King and Kaysa are also only stop gap measures at best.  Mahoney is a gun, hopefully he is fast tracked into the side in the next 18 months or so.

  • Andrew Marmount is a moron.. Newcastle and the Warriors making the 8 over the Eels? I guess NRL.com are stuggling for reporters
    • Alan "smooth figs" Hunt is a moron

    • Harsh but fair call Vince

"LB, Eli, good discussion gents. We've acted in good-faith. By the book. With clean hands. Lomax appears not to have on face value. But regardless, equity is not unlikely to view an NRL-wide restraint until 31 Oct 28' as overly-punitive and read it…"

LB replied to Johnny Suede's discussion Lomax legal promise could create salary-cap headache for Storm
"I know i have said it before but Storm fans say we are being unreasonable and see no outcome in which we win this case. Despite all the released, that is still the belief. I believe in bias and backing your team but come on.
But i do not think they…"
