In senior roles, you have to act.“I’m not here to be popular. It’s a hard thing for me to punish but I did what I had to do.”Boulous, a father of several young children, is now deciding whether he will pursue more legal action against the NRL. But the chances are he will accept that he is not going to work in rugby league in the future.http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/nrl-ceo-todd-greenberg-gave-disgraced-former-eels-boss-john-boulous-a-personal-reference/news-story/c3f3cfa888b1c0f59775fb9df1c11511

  • Who cares.  Sports Management Administration is a small world in this country and most would know each other on a personal note.

  • Wasn't Greenburg allegedly Scott Sewards reference too?

    • And bum buddy?
  • Its nothing short of unbelievable the amount of links that go directly to TG.

  • Lol.. So he endorsed Seward, then endorsed Boulos.

No wonder Greenberg doesn't want us appealing, everyone being dodgy was his mates!
  • I know I'm in minority here but so what? There are a limited number of senior level staff in rugby league. I don't think there is any Greenberg led conspiracy to install crap staff at the Eels so he could take us down four years later.

Greenberg hasn't done Boulous any favours. Boulous will never work in the NRL again. Neither will Seward or Irvine. In fact, they'll all be very lucky to get jobs in any Australian sport.

    • No theres no way theres some conspiracy that this is somehow planned by TG, but imo he was up to his neck in all this at the dogs and he has huge vested interests in all this.

I still believe we hired Scott knowing full well he was our man to do all this, i think we knew of Scoots capabilities all too well before we hired him, but thats only my opinion.

  • So What. Does that mean the Board and Boulos had a license to cheat - then come back & say - hey Greenberg endorsed me.

    Means f-all sorry.....
  • I'm surprised Greenturd hasn't been quizzed about his roll in this mess. He name also has links to some of these indiscretions.
  • He's blaming the club for corrupting Boulous lol .
