Parramatta have received a massive boost ahead of Saturday’s local derby against Canterbury with halfback Mitchell Moses set to make an early return from a broken finger.
Eels coach Brad Arthur told NRL360 on Monday night that Moses had trained earlier in the day and would be on the Parramatta team sheet when it is announced at 4pm on Tuesday.
Moses hasn’t played since injuring his finger in his side’s 34-10 win over Penrith on July 29.
In his absence the Eels beat Manly 36-20 but crashed back to earth with a 26-0 loss to South Sydney last weekend.
Moses will reunite with Dylan Brown in the halves, with back-up No. 7 Jake Arthur to make way.
The seventh-placed Eels need a victory over the Bulldogs to keep their slim hopes alive for a top-four finish, or at least try to finish in fifth or sixth spot to earn home-ground advantage in what would be an elimination final.

Well, we will wait and see tomorrow afternoon for the team sheet list. Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play.
Yeah , Happy dance Grunts .....he blitzed it last time we played them.
Brad Arthur pulling our strings givin us hope, hoping we forget about last week's performance
Has to return after 2 weeks for a 4 week injury because we don't have a half in the 30 capable of filling the void against the Dogs.
Good stuff BA. It's all fun and games giving your son of 12 NSW Cup games an NRL contract until he actually has to justify it.
you say some really dumb stuff a lot of the time
Truth hurts ?
nah mate, just dumb shit you write sometimes...not even close to being real or funny for that matter.
Who's trying to be funny ?
BA needed a halfback to fill in for Moses for a month and has to rush him back after 2 games because said halfback can't hold his own? Factually correct ? Be good to have a Sean O'Sullivan type who can at least hold it down .
This certainly helps our cause, but won't solve our consistency issues.
