Now Wade Graham has been offered a deal

Now in career-best form as a dangerous bench utility, Graham has attracted lucrative offers from the Panthers and Eels. The growing interest has prevented the 21-year-old from committing to Cronulla.Everyone is getting money thrown at them, I must say I do like graham but he is not worth a "lucrative offer".Then again the telegraph always come up with BS about moneyhttp://m.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/gus-gould-and-the-panthers-plan-their-own-poaching-raid-on-the-sharks-after-michael-gordon-move/story-e6frexnr-1226359371126

  • I have always found that to be a negative in a player to be honest wiz.

But remember Jason Taylor ?? ;)
  • Exactly Wiz.

That is why the Ryan Morgan and Taniela Lasalo experiments have failed.

We got rid with Billy "Splinters" Rogers and it worked. I can not believe the hype for him was to become the next Dallas Johnson. Mismanaged the poor kid. My fault to, I gave it to him.

  • If we sign Wade Graham that will do me.

He does not know what he wants to be on the footy field most times and is a confidence player.

I saw an add on TV that hopefully someone can dowload and post from Utube? Search for SK II.

Cate Blanchett does and add for SK II and speaks of her 9 years experience, f*** I hope we don't experience that!

    • He's immature, but the guy is only 21.. it's to be expected.

I'd take him as a #13, but he's stated many times he doesn't want to play there.  I expect his primary reason for looking at other clubs would be to try and secure a #6 jersey.

If he was at #6, his size would be a good foil for Hayne, but I truly, honestly hope we don't change our halves combination AGAIN next year.

    • Glad to see you followed my advice HH, accurate name mate.

  • I might of been out of the loop but I never heard anything about that waste.

All I know was he couldn't handle not being in a first grade side without working hard and threw it in the little sook.
  • For us to be chasing Wdae Graham, i wonder what the intentions are for Ben Roberts considering Graham is a 5-8. Unless Kearney wants him as a lock?

OR IS Roberts going to become a utility to replace McGuire?

    • Roberts as a bench utility is a decent idea. On this years evidence, Roberts is great in patches, seems to struggle to hold it all together for 80 mins - how many Eels can this year?! If he was able to com eon at the back end of each half and scoot around out of dummy half etc it might be a worthwhile experiment.

  • Send Graham to the Dogs and give us Reynolds. What a wet dream that would be.

If we were to purchase Graham as a 6 I would not have Roberts on the bench. I would have Saege or Barba.
I do not want Graham because of my reasons below but he does he will grow more and has some skill to be a big 6 - but I think Hayne can fit that piece to the puzzle ongoing if needed.
  • I think Kearney can now see you cant have Sandow and Roberts together, its a bad defensive problem, both are weak in defense, where as Graham is a strong defender. Good to see Kearney is waking up in his future decisions....
