  i doubt that orford will go to canberra the bad publicity that came out of the monaghan scenario has left the raiders reputation damaged put on top of that the josh dugan drink driving case that happened earlier this year my personal feelings are that orford will sign with us i personally think that the deal between us and orford is pretty much done and i cannot see orford going to rugby union at the age he is at now. i dont think that raiders would be an attractive prospect for an incoming player.

  Orford isnt about who he plays for he is about MONEY. And being the end of his career i think he would rather play for the money like most people do at his age.

  Plus it gives them more reason to go for orford because he is a mature player, he has experience and they have lost alot and it makes common sence they will try and give him more money. Who else is out there for them to purchase that is a quality back?

  Money speaks volumes for some players, and I think for that reason, we may very well see Orford head to the Raiders, as they're willing to offer more than we are.
  They don't have the luxury that we do in having solid halves waiting in the wings.
  
  For them, if they don't sign a front-line half, then it'll be McCrone and their NYC half starting the season.
  They'll be spewing that they let go Cameron Bruest now that Campese is out for at least the first 10 rounds.

  i am a fan of orford coming to parra but who knows if it will happen but if orford were to come to parra i think it would help not hinder our chances at the 2011 title

  So say they sign Orford, what happens to Campese mid season? I actually feel sorry for him, this injury has hurt him in more ways than he imagined.
