Parramatta have suffered yet another season-ending injury blow with centre Brad Takairangi ruled out for the remainder of the year with a broken foot.
Takairangi is booked in for surgery today with the recovery process set to take up to seven weeks.
One of the Eels’ most consistent performers throughout the club’s torrid 2015 season campaign, Takairangi was originally named to take on the Sydney Roosterson Saturday night despite suffering the injury last weekend in Parramatta’s victory over Penrith in Darwin.
However, he will now join the likes of Richie Fa’aoso (shoulder), Anthony Watmough(knee), Danny Wicks (shoulder), Kaysa Pritchard (pec), Beau Champion (knee) andKenny Edwards (knee) on the sideline.

Our centres are cursed this year.
Just want this season to end. Who ever is in charge of conditioning shoud be sacked.
