I'm not a Happy Eels supporter anymore and its not because the team hasnt clicked yet.
Its because the supporters have become the biggest bunch of whingers and bellyachers of all the clubs.
Parramatta has always been the club for the working class, the battlers and the families.
Players like the Hindmarshes and Caylesses are why kids in the area wanted to play the game, because even though they may not be the best, they give their all and they dont give up.
I supported the team when we were wooden spooners, i cheered on the hill when our team got flogged by every team in the comp.
When players like Laurie, Penna and Buettner were busting a gut...
I wouldnt care if we won no games this year or next year.... The only reason i want us to win the comp is so our players can go out like winners.
When our team is doing well, u want changes! when the team is doing bad, you want changes! When the team is chasing JT... you dont freakn want him....Maybe if Inglis was in the frame you wouldnt want him either....
All you whingers should do something proactive for the club, go along to training and put yourselves up for Tackiling practice.

There is a time and a place to vent and express frustration.
Then there is a time to get over it and look forward to the next game. That time is now. We lost to the Sharks and now we have the chance to steady the ship on Monday night. I'll be there rain, hail or moonshine.

Don't let it bother you and just keep supporting your team the best way you can, as that is the only thing you can control.
Nothing has changed. You will always get 'The good / The bad / & The ugly' . Weather it's celebrating or venting online, in the pub or at the game. That's the great thing about sport. That’s what creates atmosphere at games. Passionate supporters.
Mate we all luv the club. If reading some of the dribble that is posted in here upsets you, then don't read it or don't log on. 1 Eyed has done a fantastic job by creating a trash blog page, so hopefully most of the frustrated venting (Also known as dribble) is kept to this trash blog page. That way you have a choice. We also have some fantastic moderators that assist in ensuring well thought out articulated, constructive blogs are kept to the front page. In saying that I do enjoy going into the trash blogs for a laugh at times. There is some good stuff in there. I'll go as far as saying even well thought out at times.
Just do what you did in the 80"s & 90's (Except I know you can't stand on the hill) & go to support your team, don't log on & you'll never know the difference..
Mate I am a season ticket holder, so I will be there on Monday nite doing my best to support the team for their second win.
