Normy can't do it alone

I've read a few blogs here saying we don't need Hayne because Norman is on fire. Normy is doing a fantastic job but he can not single handily carry the team. If you look at the Cowboys not even Thurston can do that. He has off games and Coote and Morgan step up. If anyone has watched the last few eels games you will notice Norman is playing halfback and five eight essentially. He is running himself ragged . Yes he produced a masterclass last week but I've never seen a half look so exhausted as he does when the cameras pan to him. We got lucky last week... Lucky because Norman smashed it. However he is not Thurston or Hayne and cannot carry this team week after week. Our backline is potent but they are not getting ball. I see last week as a need for improvement not a plus. Norman would not have had to score off kicks if we had two halves who orchestrated plays. Lay tell Mitchell is a young halfback and we benefited off that but we won't be able to do that each week. With semi out there is no one to draw the defence so yes we need Hayne

Positive about Hayne sabbatical was Norman stepped his game up. During his time with Hayne he didn't do too much. I'm sure BA, Hayne and team realise now it can't be Hayne alone if/when he returns. I think the team was better for it and won't go back to old ways when Hayne gets back.
